The Problem: Kia's website was outdated and did not reflect their modern brand. They needed a total redesign to elevate their brand and create a more intuitive and elegant user experience to drive sales.

The Solution: Our concept for the site was to highlight each car model's unique personality that our users could identify with. Our approach was to design a user journey that allowed the user to easily navigate to the point in the buying process they wanted to experience, whether they wanted to deep dive into the car's features or jump straight to the build and price configurator. Each deep dive into the car model was highly interactive and used motion and transitions to highlight the car's unique features.

The new kia.com is a fully responsive, immersive and flexible experience that not only elevated Kia as a brand, but broke the mold of conventional car sites through a modern, fresh look and delightful interactions at every step of the user's journey.

My Role: Junior Art Director. I worked closely with a team of art directors, a creative director, strategists and UX designers. My strongest area of contribution was art directing the look and feel for each car model as well as concepting each car model's interactive experience. I worked closely with a 3D rendering company to create each car's look and feel.
